New Author Journey

Hello! I thought I would use this blog to talk about my author journey. I just released my first novel in April 2026. While I thought about what it would be like to be an author when I was young, life happened and I just went with the flow. In the summer of 2025, I started thinking about what I really wanted to do with the rest of my life. I am a grandmother now and love to spend time with them, so I really didn't want to spend the last half of my life working for someone else every day of the week. Then it hit, it was time, time to follow my own dream. I decided to write cozy mysteries because I love mysteries and puzzles! I don't need a lot of gore, so this is the perfect genre for me. By October 2025 I was enrolled in a self-publishing course as I knew the traditional publishing route was not for me. I can't even count the number YouTube channels and podcasts I watched and listened to by authors, to get a feel for what was to come! I am here now, let's see where it takes me
